This Privacy Policy is effective from 28 October 2026. It explains how Findence LLC handles personal information in Opssy.

Delete your Opssy account: how to request deletion, by email or in the app, and what happens to your data.

Who we are and how to contact us

Opssy is a product of Findence LLC. Contact: support@findence.com.

Findence LLC is responsible for the personal information this policy describes.

What Opssy collects

Account information: your given name, your family name, your email address, your phone number and your password. Account creation does not ask for your gender or country.

Verification and consent records: that your email address and phone number were confirmed with a code, and which version of the Terms of Service and of this Privacy Policy you accepted, and when. When you request a phone verification code, Opssy also records the method you chose (text message or voice call), the phone number, whether you consented to text messages, the version of the disclosure shown to you, and when.

Professional information: your Professional Profile, qualifications, rates and availability, including any availability comments.

Profile details you choose to add: your gender, the countries of your citizenship, whether you hold a passport and its expiration date, a short bio, and links to your Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn profiles. Opssy never collects passport numbers or images of passports.

Role details you choose to add: as a Pilot, your region and oceanic experience; as a Flight Attendant, your region experience, visas, languages and training.

Photos and documents: a profile photo or an Organization image you choose, up to six Flight Attendant gallery photos, and one resume as a PDF file. Opssy also keeps a small thumbnail copy of each photo.

Location information: if you are a Professional and turn Location on, one recent location of your device, rounded to about 1 km, and when Opssy received it; your Location setting; and your setting for Trip requests when you have no Availability covering a Trip’s dates.

Organization information: Organization details, memberships and roles.

Trips and offers: Trips, role requirements (including any passport, region, oceanic, simulator, training, visa and language requirements), offers and the actions taken on them.

Network and messages: connections, connection requests, conversations and messages.

Safety records: reports, blocks and moderation actions.

Device and technical information: your push-notification setting, device push tokens, sign-in sessions and security records.

How Opssy uses information

To create and secure your account, including confirming your email address and phone number and keeping each to one account.

To provide Opssy: Trips, offers, Professional Profiles, Organizations, the Network and messaging.

To match Professionals with a Trip’s role requirements, using their qualifications, availability, role details and passport information.

To send the email, text messages, voice calls and push notifications you request or that Opssy needs to send about your account and your activity.

To prevent fraud and abuse, to enforce the Terms of Service, to handle reports, deletion requests, legal requests and disputes, and to maintain and improve Opssy.

Who can see your profile

Your Professional Profile, profile details, role details, photos and social-profile links are visible to people at Organizations, and to other Professionals, who are allowed to view your profile in Opssy, for example through a connection, a Trip or the Professional directory. For a Pilot this includes total and pilot-in-command flight hours and medical class.

Your minimum rates and your availability comments are never shown to others.

Your passport expiration date is visible only to you. Others can see only whether you hold a passport.

Pilot and Flight Attendant role details, and Flight Attendant gallery photos, are shown to others only while you hold that qualification.

Your resume is visible to you. “Only show my resume to operators” is on by default: then only operators can open it, meaning Organizations that can send you offers and that you are connected with, are reviewing you for a Trip, or have offered you or booked you on an active Trip. When you turn it off, anyone who can see your profile can open your resume.

While your account deletion is being processed, no one else can see your profile, photos or resume.

Your email address and phone number

Both are confirmed with a code before your account exists, and each can belong to only one Opssy account. Your email address is how you sign in and how you recover access.

Opssy never shows anyone whether an email address has an Opssy account. The one exception is during account creation: after you confirm an address or number with its code, Opssy tells you if it already belongs to an account.

Text messages and voice calls

Opssy uses your mobile phone number to confirm it is yours when you create an account, by sending the one-time verification code you request by text message or by automated voice call, as you choose. Opssy does not use your mobile phone number for marketing.

Service providers acting solely on Findence LLC’s behalf process mobile information only as necessary to deliver, secure and operate the service. Mobile information and text-messaging consent are not sold, rented or shared for marketing or promotional purposes.

Opssy uses Twilio to deliver the text message or voice call you request. Twilio processes your phone number and that message or call on Findence LLC’s behalf, solely to deliver it. This is not a sale of your information and not sharing for promotional purposes.

All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information won’t be shared with any third parties.

Service providers

Findence LLC uses service providers for cloud hosting, authentication, databases and file storage; transactional email; delivery of the text messages and voice calls you request; push notifications; and app distribution and operational support.

Service providers may use personal information only to provide their service to Findence LLC, to protect the service, or to comply with law. Findence LLC does not sell or rent personal information.

Push notifications

One setting on your Account decides whether Opssy sends push notifications. Your device decides whether it allows them.

Location

Opssy uses your device’s location only if you are a Professional and turn Location on in your profile, and only while the app is open, never in the background. Your device rounds the location to about 1 km before sending it, and Opssy does not keep how accurate the reading was.

Opssy uses your location for two things: to order you among candidates who are already eligible for a Trip, and, when a Trip has a departure-airport distance limit, you have no Availability covering the Trip’s dates and you allow Trip requests, to decide whether you are within that limit.

Opssy keeps at most one recent location for you, replacing it whenever your device sends a new one, and keeps no history of earlier locations. Opssy stops using a location two hours after receiving it and then deletes it automatically.

To limit how often your device sends a location, Opssy records the times of your most recent location uploads. These records contain no location, and each is deleted after one hour.

When Opssy uses your location to order you for a Trip, it records, with that Trip’s candidate list, when that use of your location expires, so that an offer never relies on an expired location. This record contains no location, and it is deleted when your account is deleted.

The order in which you appeared in a Trip’s candidate list stays part of that Organization’s Trip records. It shows no location, distance or time. If your account is deleted, those records show you as “Deleted user”.

Choosing Don’t allow, or turning Location off, deletes your stored location at once. If you remove Opssy’s location permission on your device, Opssy deletes your stored location when the app next notices. Signing out does not delete it, but it is still deleted automatically after two hours. When your account is deleted, Opssy deletes any stored location, the upload times, your Location and Trip-request settings, and the records of when uses of your location expire.

No coordinates, distances or times are shown, and no Organization or other Professional sees your Location setting or your location.

How long information is kept

Account information is kept while your account is active and needed to provide Opssy.

Verification and consent records are kept as long as reasonably necessary to show what was requested and consented to, to protect Opssy, to resolve disputes and to comply with law.

Location information is kept only as described in Location.

Profile details, role details, photos with their thumbnails, and your resume are kept while your account is active and until you change or remove them. A replaced or removed photo or resume is deleted from storage. All of them are deleted when your account is deleted.

When an account is deleted, its personal account data is deleted or anonymized through Opssy’s deletion process. Limited restricted evidence, and records that no longer identify you, may remain for security, fraud prevention, dispute handling, legal compliance or an active legal hold.

Information is deleted or anonymized when it is no longer reasonably necessary for these purposes.

Closing your login or deleting your account

A login that has never been used for Trips, an Organization or a Professional Profile can be closed straight away from Account. Any other account can request deletion in the app.

After a login is closed or an account is deleted, its email address and phone number are held back for a period. Only then may either be used for a new, unrelated account, with no connection to the old one.

After deletion, others see you as “Deleted user”, and messages you sent appear as “Message from a deleted user”. Any restricted evidence that is kept is never available through any account.

Your choices and rights

You can update your profile and account information where Opssy supports it, add, change or remove your profile details, role details, photos and resume, choose whether only operators can open your resume, turn push notifications on or off on your Account, reply STOP to stop text messages, choose a voice call instead of a text message when you create an account, and request deletion of your account in the app.

If you are a Professional, you can turn Location on or off in your profile at any time, and choose whether Organizations may send you Trip requests when you don’t have Availability covering the Trip dates.

You can also contact support@findence.com to ask for access to, correction of or deletion of your personal information, or to make any other privacy request. Which rights apply depends on the law where you live.

Security and international processing

Findence LLC uses reasonable administrative, technical and organizational safeguards to protect personal information. No system is perfectly secure.

Service providers may process information in countries other than your own, subject to the safeguards that applicable law requires.

Changes to this policy

When this policy changes materially, Findence LLC will make the new text available as a new version.
